Combining Lincomycin and Spectinomycin, this dual-action formula provides broad-spectrum antibacterial and antimycoplasmal activity against many of the organisms responsible for respiratory disease, including Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, and susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. It is commonly used to help manage airsacculitis, CRD, and Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD), making it a trusted choice for breeders, hobbyists, and pigeon fanciers.

The combination of lincomycin and spectinomycin works by attacking bacteria through two different mechanisms, providing broader antimicrobial coverage than either antibiotic alone. Because Spectino-Link 50 dissolves easily in drinking water, it offers a convenient way to medicate individual birds or an entire flock. It is suitable for use in young chicks as well as mature birds and is commonly used when birds exhibit signs of respiratory illness such as coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, watery eyes, labored breathing, or reduced performance.
