Tylomox 40/20 Powder is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated to help support the treatment of bacterial respiratory and intestinal infections in pigeons, backyard poultry, and ornamental birds. Combining 40% Tylosin with 20% Amoxicillin, this powerful dual-antibiotic formula provides broad coverage against many of the bacterial pathogens commonly encountered in birds. Tylomox is widely used by pigeon fanciers and poultry keepers to help manage respiratory conditions such as Mycoplasmosis, Ornithosis (Chlamydia), Wet Nostril, as well as intestinal bacterial infections caused by E. coli and Salmonella. The combination of two proven antibiotics helps provide broader antibacterial coverage than either medication alone.

The active ingredients work together to support healthy respiratory and digestive function during bacterial illness. Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic known for its effectiveness against Mycoplasma and other susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, while Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that helps control many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli and Salmonella. Because the powder is completely water-soluble, it provides a convenient way to medicate an individual bird or an entire flock through the drinking water. Fresh medicated water should be prepared daily, and birds should receive it as their only source of drinking water during the treatment period.
